Christmas used to be a bigger deal because it took much more preparation than ordering a bunch of shit off Amazon. We used to have to go Christmas shopping and that kind of put you in the spirit because you'd maybe go to a restaurant and have some drinks too, maybe buy some shit for yourself, bring a girl....it was an event. Now it's just more of the same. Also, we as a nation need to start playing up the Christian component because America is the world's largest Christian nation.
