The vessel, recently renamed Marinera under a Russian flag after operating as Guyana-flagged Bella 1, was captured under a U.S. court warrant for violating Venezuelan sanctions. It had dodged a U.S. Coast Guard boarding off Venezuela last month, with crew repelling the attempt, before heading toward the North Sea possibly bound for Russia. Russia deployed a submarine and ships to escort it, while U.S. teams—with Coast Guard, military, and U.K. aviation support—secured the ship, part of a shadow fleet skirting oil export bans to fund adversarial regimes. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth affirmed the Venezuelan oil blockade stays fully enforced worldwide."






Realistically, there is no combination of nations right now that would not be quickly defeated in a war with the US.  Stephen Miller's right...NO ONE is going to go to war with America over Greenland....or Venezuela..
