Although I don't believe in God as such, I consider myself a Christian - almost devoutly.  On the matter of God, creation, afterlife - surely the only truly corrct answer is "We don't know". But as for subscribing to a philosophy, code of conduct, ideology etc. goes - Jesus is particularly charitable, just and worthy of emulation. At any rate, it is and has been the bedrock of Western Civilization and it has motivated and inspired the greatest achievements of humanity.  And it is OUR religion; the religion of the Americas, of Europe and elsewhere.
The enemies of Christianity are the enemies of America.
