It's been my long-standing policy to not drive on the expressway if I can avoid it - and I usually can. The region where I live is similar to that area of the ocean commonly known as The Bermuda Triangle - where the laws of space, time and gravity are warped. We drive east to get to Canada and get on Eastbound I-94 to go north - I don't know why; none of us do. It's just the way things have always been.
My wife's going to Boston so I drove her to Metro Airport which is way down south near Ohio. On the way back north - on eastbound 94 - there was a big billboard next to the giant tire that said "You're not in Ohio anymore - That's a win !". I wanted to take a picture of it but I was too busy trying not to die to engage in landscape photography. People like me shouldn't even be allowed to drive by an airport. I'm way too high strung.
