Topix Underground

I did a lot of work for Indians for some reason.  I'm like a cult figure with them.  It's weird...almost all of the houses I have been in, first reek like whatever that shit is they put in everything they eat...curry ?  And they turn the fireplaces in the houses into these weird little Hindu (presumably) shrines.
They're mostly nice and as successful as you would expect someone with the wherewithal to travel half-way around the world to  seek their fortunes in a foreign nation with a foreign language to be. I'm sure they are the best and brightest of India.
The one guy's wife gave me a jasmine plant and a can of Sprite for saving her husband from being attacked by some hack contractor that happened to be in the same house as me when I had a hammer in my hand.  I still have that jasmine plant  in the basement under a light. It blooms every now and then with these little white flowers that smell like perfume. Anyhow, I think that's why they all like me. They probably all talk to one another at the Hindu temple.
