People keep insisting with a straight face that Arabic people are inherently and uniquely evil, brutal, uncivilized, etc. and genocidal violence done to them is "justified" while also claiming to be moral and clear-eyed about the situation.
Genocidal politics are sadly common in the world. Hamas wants to destroy Israel. The Israeli government wants to destroy the Palestinians. Neither's hands are clean. But one is much more powerful than the other.
