I have a Colorado Blue Spruce, which are gorgeous. I wish I had 20.  I planted a few Crimson King Maples along with the Colorado, a Serbian Spruce, some white birch, white pine. I wish I had had more foresight. I should have planted more. I did lose maybe 30% of what I originally planted to weather and deer over the course of 20 years.
You cannot plant too many trees. A full grown tree is a huge and valuable asset.
