I resent the demands placed on you when you have a phone. It's a yoke, a burden, a mantle of responsibility because everyone knows you know they're calling and if you don't talk to them, they know you are deliberately avoiding them and the privilege of plausible deniability is removed from the social equation...to the detriment of our species.
I never go to bed with my phone. Someone could be dying, and I wouldn’t know until I wake up.
