I recall that. They made a silent movie of the book in 1920.
They should make a new one. I read an old print of the book from 1940’s. It was translated in Bulgarian. My mom’s a big Jack London fan, so she had all his books.

Damn. I accidentally got my 16.5 year old cat stoned. I didn’t see her in the room. Now she is laying on her back with one paw in the air. She has Cheech & Chong eyes.

I had this weird thought that Trump wants to take Cuba. Who is going to stop them? Then I realized he is mocking the threats of the Chinese. Truth is they shot themselves in the foot with Covid.

I am sure some of you are old enough to remember this: in Montreal at least we had good retail everywhere. When I was in high school I bought as many Indian Shirts ( that is what we called them). The Indian cotton at that time was far superior to anything I have seen. Just a memory.

All those court cases against Trump were leveled by Democrats with the specific goal of preventing him from holding office and it didn’t work.
The people have spoken.

"“At its heart, wokeness is divisive, exclusionary, and hateful. It basically gives mean people a shield to be mean and cruel, armored in false virtue.”

Elon Musk

"Elon Musk, a vocal critic of what he describes as 'woke culture,' has stated on social media that he has effectively eliminated what he terms the 'woke mind virus.' This metaphorical statement refers to his ongoing critique of political correctness and what he perceives as extreme progressive ideologies."

Keir Starmer has been in contact with Justin Trudeau and Gavin Newsome. They're thinking of going in on a vacation rental together.

"The Reckoning: Trump Administration Prepares Response to Starmer's Election Interference.

In an unprecedented twist in global politics, the Trump administration is rumored to be preparing a dramatic response to revelations of foreign interference in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

With undeniable proof surfacing that UK Labour leader Keir Starmer allegedly orchestrated a covert operation involving 100 staffers to support Donald Trump's rival, Kamala Harris, the political landscape has been shaken to its core.

As Donald Trump triumphantly prepares to return to the White House, insiders close to the administration suggest that his approach to this betrayal could mark a turning point in U.S.-UK relations. "

I'm anxious for the agitation, the militancy and the hate to end, or at least tone down.  It would be nice if law and order was restored here and the wars abroad would end.  It'd be nice if calm and decency prevailed; and it'd be nice if we all could more readily afford our necessities. Hopefully that will happen over the next several months.

This explains why Trump shocked everyone with how much of the Black vote he got.
