We normally get about 6 or 8 a day. But they don't lay in the winter unless you use lights to extend the daylight hours. Their bodies are programmed to not to try to raise babies when it's winter. Personally, I think they deserve the break.

Actually, I wouldn't even have paid attention to the weather except that TV and internet make it all sound so dramatic. "Polar Vortex", "Bomb Cyclone". Music, news alerts, you'd think the world is ending.

I have a no-electricity natural gas heater in the garage. In a pinch, I can turn that on and open the door to the house and keep it above freezing.  I also have back-up electric heat in the house in case the furnace breaks.

It’s pretty telling that a good portion of Democrats are so filled with hate that they want Trump to fail. They would rather see the national destroyed than accept that most Americans support Trump. They prefer to be part of the problem than join in finding solutions.
