This was the perfect place to raise a kid. It's like using a different mold for a casting. I am so glad she didn't grow up where me and my wife did. That place was the GD Twilight Zone. I used to have to go back down there for work occasionally and it would put me in a bad frame of mind just being there. This is a totally different scene here. Way better values etc.

Really it does. Being a human being has serious consequences.
Yes. Personally, I've done a lot of damage but I made it this far. Living here will keep me healthy longer. My brother is two years older than me and he looks like he could be my father. He stayed. It's the Picture of Dorian Gray effect.

Saw this giant gorilla at the circus. Never saw a wild gorilla on TV near as big. They had to give him toys to play with.  Tires and stuff. His arms were like Sequoias.

My cousin's daughter got beat up by her BF. Oddly enough he disappeared without a trace. A real head scratcher. 🤔

I never fit in at a normal job and I could ever stand it. It was torture. Maybe I could grin and bear it for a few years at a crack when I was younger, not anymore. I don't care about that either. Being a contractor isn't just a job, it's a lifestyle. It's the last refuge of misfits. But I'm not dangerous, dishonest or drunk so that enhances my marketability relative to my peers.

Putting those animals in zoos and research facilities is like Auschwitz immoral. They way they are killed off in Africa is a crime against humanity. It makes you wonder if that wasn't the same thing that happened to the Denisovans, Neanderthals and associates.

It's the same reason we have to fight the globalists.

I'm pretty sure I could work that around if I ran it up the flag pole on Twitter.  That shit, Twitter, is mass hysteria. It's like brainwashing or self-hypnosis. Gets people all whipped up about shit that does not affect them, but that's not even the point. It becomes like a video game or television show.  It exists for the sake of itself and is influencing the mob in an unimaginably dystopian way. It's maladaptive, damaging individually and universally; herd poisoning on a massive scale.

The news doesn't matter. The rest of the world doesn't matter. That's really the underlying theme of the whole Walden-esque experience. Allowing that in corrupts the environment. It's better not to let that negativity seep in.  I'm turning on, tuning in and dropping out - not necessarily in that order.

I never held a job more than two years until I got that union job. And eventually I tried to kill my supervisor. I would always go off on somebody and get fired. I've learned that I'm bipolar and I can do a certain about of self realization and unless something comes up unexpectedly I can realize when I'm about to "go off" and take steps. But if it's unexpected.... It's on!

I always knew I was going to have an unstable work life so I just kept it cool living in a small house, used car, etc.  It's worth it. I can't have a rigid schedule, deal with a lot of people and all that. I used to be able to force myself but then I figured why go through hating life.

I used to have this giant roto-tiller. I never used it. It sat in the barn for 15 years until I sold it. Now I just use a shovel to put those gardens in.  Also this garden claw.

What's on Twitter is manufactured. The feed...or content being presented by these professional social media personalities...and that's what they are....is produced, directed, staged. And to mingle that kind of celebrity in with the news and politics makes the people involved become performative in their behavior. Everything becomes a reality show.

I deal with my "problem" by eliminating as much stress from my life as possible.

It's nice here. I remodeled this house over a period of many years. It's not as quiet as it was 25 years ago but it's still rural. My wife and kid do a lot. It's like socialism.
