"Gen Z is getting ‘tramp stamps’ to feel more empowered

According to the Statista Research Department, as of 2021, millennials and Gen Z have the most tattoos, with  41% of millennials and 23% of Gen Z having a minimum of one tattoo."

"Gen Z is opting to get "tramp stamp" tattoos, or ink on the lower back, to feel more empowered.

"Women are reclaiming negative stereotypes, which were once used to disparage them, as a form of empowerment," Melissa Martell, a tattoo artist in Cleveland, said in an Allure article published Saturday that the lower back is "the perfect spot" for body art.

The location of the tattoo is considered convenient as it can be easily hidden and wouldn’t be an issue in the workplace, as many workplaces require employees to hide body art. "

"Body art" LOL

I had a shitload of money in the late 90's then the dot-com bubble burst....or something like that. Then I had a shit load of money again and the mortgage meltdown hit...then I had money again and Biden happened and now I'm broke again. Obama wiped me out and Biden wiped me out again. Whatever it is that they do to manipulate the economy, it has the effect of wealth redistribution. Only it's distributing to the wrong people.  That's been the reality for me. I don't know what the political technicalities were, nor do I care. I just know that the hate-America agenda fomented by the Left is highly destructive - as we have so tragically born witness to over the previous four years.

Luckily for me - very luckily - I'm healthy and I own meager means of production and appropriate skills with which to ply my capitalist trade(s).

"..America is finally being run like a business: a business acquired by private equity that’s being stripped for parts before being liquidated.."

Stock market losses for the last 2 days, 6 trillion dollars has vanished in a puff of smoke. People's retirement investments, just gone.

And there is no sign that the sell off will slow down.

I logged into my 401K on Thursday and there was a warning, something about not panicking. Fidelity told my Mom a few weeks ago that there's going to be a WWlll - no kidding on that. One of her Financial Advisers is in Utah. I have Fidelity, Empower (401K) and PERA. Hopefully there will be enough money left in one that I'll be able to retire - Social Security is looking iffy right now. I'm planning on working 4 more years until I'm 70 - don't see much of a different choice at this point.

I think a war is inevitable at this point unless something drastic changes. It appears the battle lines/alliances are being  forged in preparation. Europe is looking for war in my opinion.

My wife and kid went to Boston. Coincidentally,  the lunatic fringe was having some sort of hate rally there today but I don't think it interfered with their trip. Only crazy people protest. Normal people have normal shit to attend to.

Be a great time to have Europe still taking cues from the USA, wouldn't ?  Oh well....

All 50 states and beyond, even little towns like mine. History was made today.
