I want to live at night a very private and very solitary double life where I get high and wander around in the dark outside in my pajamas with the full Moon and wild animals while I can still do that. No one knows about that shit except me and Gus. My wife doesn't even know. Why would I even bring that up with anyone? They'd never get it. I don't even give a shit about money anymore. I've transcended all that. I'm on a different plane. This was what I have been thinking about my entire life. "self actualization". I read about this. Abraham Maslow. Some book in 1981 I read. The hierarchy of needs. I've been fucking around with this since I was 18. I knew what I had to do. Walk away from my old life or it would never happen and that meant giving up a crazy amount of money and power but it was a clear moral choice of the kind that it so dramatic, stark and high stakes that the chance of it happening to anyone is astronomical and for it to happen to me almost killed me over a period of many years. Abraham Maslow and Jesus..or whoever wrote the New Testament. I'm not religious or even a believer but I read the New Testament many times and one of the phrases that more or less staked me to the ground was that bit about the camel going through the eye of a needle. I so wanted that not to be true. I waged war for a few decades and in the end Thank God I lost. It was true. I don't have any money anymore but I'll be Goddamned if I didn't just fall backward down a flight of stairs for a few decades and  land on my feet without spilling my drink.  There's no way I could have planned this because if I got my way I'd be long gone. It's the long game I could never see because I'm always too busy reliving things that probably never happened  and worrying about things that probably won't happen. I'm going to smoke pot and take pictures of the Moon. That's what I'm going to do.
Sounds like a plan to me.

I read that according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, the IQ threshold for "intellectual disability" (retardation) is generally below 70, with deficits in adaptive functioning.
The average IQ for Somalis is estimated at 68 according "The Intelligence of Nations" (by Richard Lynn and David Becker).

Lower IQ ( severe inbreeding) allows for easier control of the population. Simple.

Murder hornet swarm kills U.S. father, son ziplining in Southeast Asia

The American director of an elite private school was stung to death by a swarm of murder hornets alongside his teenage son while they were ziplining in Southeast Asia, local officials confirmed.

Daniel Owen and his 15-year-old son, Cooper, were visiting Green Jungle Park — an eco-adventure resort near the city of Luang Prabang — when the incident occurred, the according to The Times of London. The pair were suddenly bombarded by hundreds of Asian giant hornets as they were descending from a tree with their guide on Oct. 15.

They were taken to the Phakan Arocavet Clinic for treatment, but they died a short time later. Both Owens and Cooper were stung more than 100 times, officials said.

A U.S. Department of State spokesperson confirmed two U.S. citizens died in Luang Prabang in northern Laos, People reported, adding, “Out of respect for the privacy of the family and loved ones during this difficult time, we have no further comment.”

Owen, who lived in Vietnam, was the director of QSI International School of Haiphong, according to a Facebook post. He was apparently on vacation with his son at the time of his death.

According to The Times, Owen was approaching his 47th birthday.

“We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Dan Owen,” the post said. “Dan dedicated 18 years to QSI, serving in five different schools and touching countless lives with his warmth, leadership, and unwavering commitment to education.”

“He was deeply loved across our community and will be profoundly missed,” the post continues. “Our sincere condolences go out to the Owen family and all who knew and loved them.”

The Asian giant hornet, also known as Vespa mandarinia or “murder hornet,” is an invasive hornet native to Asia and can grow up to 2 inches long. Its stinger, meanwhile, can measure up to an inch by itself.

"After five years of relentless effort, the northern giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia) has been eradicated from Washington State and the United States. The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) and USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) announced this landmark achievement today. The announcement marked a significant victory in the ongoing fight against invasive species. "

They're probably still here or already back.  The Chinese are probably sending all these invasive species on purpose...like covid.

"In 2013, A 41-year-old man ripped off his own penis while high on magic mushrooms.

The naked man was found screaming by police in the street near a school in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

The man, from Columbus, Ohio, later told detectives he had bought hallucinogenic mushrooms earlier in the day while visiting friends near to the school."

Al Sharpton's still around but as a racial huckster he's become a crushing disappointment. He was such a classic in his day too. That's what makes it especially sad.

I never liked NYC but that's when NY was hilarious. Now it's just a disgrace.

Yes. I imagine he was screaming. I would have been screaming too.
