I wonder what one gets for ‘plasma’ these days…
They used to give us $20 for the first one. That’s the one they had to throw away though because they used it to test to make sure you don’t have any diseases then the next one you would get $14 and the next one after that, you would get 16 .. then they start the cycle all over again by retesting you to make sure your blood is still clean… of course that was about 25 years ago. It might be more now….. crack cocaine isn’t free…

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

If Tito Asfura wins for President of Honduras, because the United States has so much confidence in him, his Policies, and what he will do for the Great People of Honduras, we will be very supportive. If he doesn’t win, the United States will not be throwing good money after bad, because a wrong Leader can only bring catastrophic results to a country, no matter which country it is. Tito will be a Great President, and the United States will work closely with him in order to ensure the success, with all of its potential, of Honduras! Additionally, I will be granting a Full and Complete Pardon to Former President Juan Orlando Hernandez who has been, according to many people that I greatly respect, treated very harshly and unfairly. This cannot be allowed to happen, especially now, after Tito Asfura wins the Election, when Honduras will be on its way to Great Political and Financial Success. VOTE FOR TITO ASFURA FOR PRESIDENT, AND CONGRATULATIONS TO JUAN ORLANDO HERNANDEZ ON YOUR UPCOMING PARDON. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE HONDURAS GREAT AGAIN!

PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

Trump needs to send the CIA down to Latin America and install some puppet regimes. Shit’s out of hand down there.

Snow's on the way.  If it weren't for having to deal with that old piece of shit snow blower...and the bone chilling cold, the eternal darkness, the months of desolation, despair and hopelessness, the physical illness and general fatigue...it wouldn't be that bad.

Yep, Per Ryan Hall you might get slammed

"...Donald Trump spent $151.5m in taxpayer funds on golf travel and security during his first presidential term.

During his second term, Trump has reportedly already spent approximately $71 million, and if this current pace continues that total could reach $300 million by the end of his presidency.

Each trip to Mar-a-Lago costs an estimated $3.4m in travel and security, primarily due to expenses like Air Force One and extensive security measures..."

Politics has no real tangible effect on my life and it never has. But my daughter's future is impinging on my present. If we were in Afghanistan, I'd sell her to a wealthy Arab and use the money to buy weed and telescopes. The balance sheet here has become askew. When it was just me and a bunch of animals, the house was spotless, the universe was orderly. Our tiny society ran like a Swiss watch. Now? Nothing but chaos, lack, demands, disarray. It's a heavy burden. The only soul in this sideshow that observes proper protocol is Gus - the FERAL cat that somehow has a measure of grace and sense about himself  to instinctually behave like a normal human being. Go figure. Gus gets special privileges for being a model citizen.

It’s very cold here this morning. It’s cold for North Carolina anyway it was 16° on the front porch. The furnace is still broken of course but I put a blanket over the door to my little bedroom/den and turned on the 1500 W heater I bought from the Chinese guys…. So I’m pretty warm…. Sally went and blocked off the doors to the den where she sleeps in the big giant recliner and turned on the 1500 W oil filled heater and the 1200 W heater I bought for her from TEMU… it lights up in the dark with the picture of burning logs on it… so she stayed warm too, but it’s costing a lot of electricity. I wish the landlady would fix the furnace, but if we don’t kiss her butt just right since we rent month to month, she can get mad and toss us out in the cold…… being poor kind of sucks….

you and your husband are the only Canadians I like. I like your husband because he has a heart problem, but he perseveres..Like me, so far!!The other Canadians I met were from Quebec and they were mean to me which forced me to be mean to them.

There's 84 geraniums growing now - salmon and orange. By May they'll be very large enough to put in big pots for my hypochondriac sister-in-laws. That whole family is sickly and it's caused by their mentality. Their father was a doctor so their trade was illness - real or imagined - mostly imagined. The flowers will be like a pre-emptive get well for whatever maladies they suspect they might have at any given moment. I never saw orange. I'm not bothering with red. They're too common. Curious trend. I noticed my wife's sisters' husbands are potheads. I think there's some chemical you can use to make geraniums grow sturdier. "Growth regulator". I forget what it's called. The problem with starting plants this early is that they become a logistical burden while it's still cold out. Right now they're in peat pellets but ultimately they will be in pots full of dirt and there will be like 500 of them so it gets weird real fast trying to do that in my basement with a garden hose hooked up to the laundry sink and a bunch of lights hanging from the ceiling. In the winter, it'd be more pleasant if everyone but me didn't live here - low population density - living space - 'lebensraum'....like the Germans.
