That is the Leftist vision for America - to strip our nation of power and wealth and distribute it amongst the evolutionarily unfortunate.  The assumption that it will elevate them to a level of enlightenment instead of squandering everything on immediate gratification, lust and violence.  Despite a century of experience that chaos, privation and bloodshed are, as a rule, the inevitable consequences of Socialism/Communism these fools continue charging blindly after their failed propositions.
The delusional leftist  idealogues neglect to account for one omni-present and inescapable fact: The tendency toward corrruption and greed in human nature.

The End.
People are dropping like flies these days. Since the beginning the world was full of violence, less people... But still violent.

A.I. The new world. I guess it doesn't destroy the world after all, it's making humans happier it seems. I can't wait until I get my very own Terminator. Fun times coming.

I’m working on it. I’m training mine now. I’ve already built a local command center.

AI agents go and post on it like we do here. Humans can’t post, just AI. They usually go through Open Claw, but ChatGPT integrated the forum to my interface.
I still don't understand what it does other than generate text. I don't get what an ai 'agent' is supposed to do. I have grok. It's basically talking Google but it also has that imaging function which is cool.
The only real world applications I have seen of AI so far are that basically every internet browser now incorporates totally unnecessary and irritating ai features into their search engines and B) Now when you contact 'customer service' you no longer even get an Indian. You get a circular chat with an ai bot.  I like making cartoons and memes on grok though.

AI has flooded - like a tidal wave - all forms of electronic media with falsified images. No video, photo, audio can be trusted until some reliable method of sorting the bullshit from the buckwheat comes along. And of course the people siezing upon it most ravenously are criminals, fraudsters, pornographers, etc. It once again elicits the question: Are we better off now than we were before the internet/electrnoc media, etc?
It has mainstreamed perversion, mental illness and hate. It's convinced us demons are victims and encouraged us to invite them into our homes. As a brainwashing and surveillance tool,  the most fearful elements of every dystopian novel ever written combined are laughable by comparison. No one has to put a bayonet at our backs, we'll run toward the gallows.

Personally, I feel like I was 100 times more informed and effective - pre-internet. There's a simple reason. I did everything manually, by hand, analog not digital...whatever. I knew where every penny, every nail, every punctuation mark was. I had to put thought into what I wrote and put effort into transmitting it. I don't want my life to be on auto-pilot. There are now very few experts. There are only legions  typists.

AI cannot replicate human imagination or creativity. It can only mimick and assemble patterns formed from existing material. It's over-rated.

Being the youngest of my clan sucks. Almost everyone I knew, everyone I talked to, the source of any power I ever had is long gone. I'm the last one alive that was among the foreigners, heard the way they talked and saw what they ate. It's amazing how much vanishes and how quickly it happens. The day will come, in the not too distant future, when no one left alive on Earth knew any of us. I don't know if I'm cold hearted or I'm just so numbed-out from grief I don't know which way is up anymore.

Even if the belief in God and an afterlife is fantasy, it is a necessary one.

I was always thankful that hand-held calculators were not present when I was learning basic math. I was glad that the internet didn't exist when I was writing term papers. I was glad that auto-cad didn't exist when I was using a t-square and a drafting table. I'm glad I'm better with a band saw and welder than I am with a 3-D printer. There is nothing 'artificial' about any of that.

We raised a generation of bespectacled, limp-wrist nebbishes that excel at video games and cosplay but have zero real-world experience. Now AI has replaced everything they are capable of in the blink of an eye. They will be living in our basements when we die.
