"WASHINGTON, May 22 (Reuters) - A U.S. company said more than two dozen healthy baby chickens have hatched from an artificial egg platform it has developed in what it calls a pivotal step in its plan to bring back the South Island Giant Moa, ‌a large flightless bird from New Zealand that went extinct centuries ago.

The announcement was made this week by Colossal Biosciences, a company dedicated to "de-extinction" - ‌resurrecting vanished species. The moa is one of two birds - the dodo being the other - among the six species in its portfolio to revive, guided by ancient DNA. The company said last year that it had genetically engineered the dire wolf, an extinct Ice Age predator."

"....executioners tried to establish the backup IV line in arms, shoulders, foot, jugular and chest. When they tried to establish a central line, she described it as Carruthers being "stabbed" multiple times and called it "torture."

While death row inmates aren't guaranteed a pain-free death, the U.S. Constitution mandates that their executions be free of "cruel and unusual punishment."

...but the three people he killed weren't "guaranteed a pain-free death" either...

I pray that it will rain today. That will help ausuage the guilt I'm probably going to feel when I don't go to work and sit around all day smoking weed - that's how Catholicism works.

I only work whenever I feel like it, it's usually a 20 hour day , but- I'm 1 of the lucky ones, the beauty of the outdoors just watching the birds and animals is worth more than taxed cash

I thought this was funny until I read "sacrificial".  Whatever shitty little country this is, Trump should bomb them. They worship the Devil.

"DHAKA, May 22 (Reuters) - A rare albino buffalo with flowing blond hair has become an unlikely celebrity in Bangladesh ahead of the Eid ‌al-Adha festival, drawing crowds of curious visitors who say the animal bears ‌a striking resemblance to U.S. President Donald Trump.

The nearly 700 kg (1,540 lb) buffalo, raised at a farm in Narayanganj district near the capital Dhaka, has been nicknamed “Donald Trump” because of the tuft of pale hair falling across its forehead — a feature many say mirrors the American leader’s trademark hairstyle.

Dozens of people flocked to the farm daily, with many traveling from ‌distant districts to pose for selfies and videos with the unusually coloured animal, which quickly went viral on social media.

“My younger brother named the buffalo Donald Trump because the hair on the front of its head resembles Donald Trump,” farm owner Ziauddin Mridha said.

“Despite its striking appearance, it is very calm by nature. It is an albino buffalo, and animals of this type are generally gentle and do not ‌become aggressive unless provoked,” he added.

UNUSUAL ANIMALS GO VIRAL DURING EID FESTIVAL

Mridha said the buffalo required special care, including being bathed four times a day and fed four meals daily to keep it healthy and in good condition before Eid.

“It needed extra attention and care every day. The buffalo has already been delivered to a ‌customer for sacrifice during Eid,” he said.

Albino buffaloes are considered rare in Bangladesh, where most buffaloes are dark-skinned. The animal’s cream-coloured body, pinkish nose and long blond hair made it stand out ‌among thousands of cattle prepared for the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha, when families traditionally sacrifice livestock.

In recent years, the Muslim-majority country has seen unusually large or distinctive sacrificial animals become viral Eid attractions, often given celebrity-inspired names to draw ‌buyers and visitors.

The buffalo’s resemblance to Trump, combined with its size and gentle temperament, has made it one of this year’s biggest crowd-pullers."

Stephen Colbert is really blaming Trump for his show getting cancelled?  I guess that's a convenient face-saver.
None of those shows are funny anymore. Letterman was funny a long time ago but he got bitter too. Even Jimmy Kimmel was funny - a long time ago. Now he's just angry and obsessed. I think his small kid had some major medical issues and it put the zap on his head.

I skipped work and dug up all the garden beds. Being broke in the country is better than being rich in the city.
