I bought my house in 1999.  There were some phragmites out there and I wanted to cut them but I didn't know what they were and if they were a protected "wetland" plant that there might be restrictions on. So I cut one and took it to the DNR office and they had no clue what it was. They had to send a photo to Lansing and get back to me.  That was 1999. We were so free and innocent back then...

My plan was to ratchet up the lifestyle, work a little harder, make a little more money, buy a new car fix up the house...it was a great plan, working out fine except because everything cost so much it did nothing.  I'm just working more for the same effect.
