Same here. It was kind of comforting thinking you would die that quickly and easily. Now the powers ( money) that be is killing us slowly.

Ideally, the Earth is a self-regulating system and our species has become an infection. Something will have to happen to return things to a state of balance and it will require the removal of an enormous number people by one or combined catastrophes - famine, climate change, pandemic, war....  Like when you catch a cold. It's all good.
