I learned that factoid many years ago watching All in the Family, which was a great show that would never be allowed today.
Like everything else the liberals don't like, it would be banned today. Along with BLAZING SADDLES.

I'm pro law and order, pro-choice, pro-universal healthcare, pro-livable SS wage, pro-affordable higher education and pro sealing the border.  Kind of an amalgam of Americana there as far as ideology. But my bent is only for my  own amusement here on the internet because I never actually vocalize any opinions on such matters, read the news  in any detail or vote. It's elevator music in my head. No one cares what I think....especially not me.

Just thinking about that makes me laugh. That's the same gang of old New York Jews that did All in the Family, the Dick Vandyke Show, etc. They're awesome.

My next door neighbors are both ex-military in their 70's.  They have a stockpile of weapons, they have a generator (big) and had contractors over there installing some kind of geothermal bullshit that probably won't do **** in Michigan in January.  I don't know if they are "preppers" per se. It just seems as if they include a lot of things within the scope of what they consider to be logically possible that I, and most mammals, consider to be wild-eyed, paranoid delusion.  Rural Michigan does not strike me as being likely ground zero for whatever pending doom awaits us.

When I was in Third Grade, our teacher, a genteel and soft-spoken white suburban lady named Julie read us kids books aloud during class. Among them were the Diary of Anne Frank and Charlotte's Web. Those are the only two events in my many years of education that I remember. I stopped paying attention right after that. Everything you need to know about life is in those two books.

I read a book by Kurt Vonnegut...probably every book by Kurt Vonnegut and he said everything to know about life is in the Brothers Karamazov, which I also read but assessed to be far more complex and convoluted than life. For me, things really are as shallow and meaningless as they seem. So let's party.

That made me laugh so hard. It reminded me of being back on old topix. There is this Bulgarian singer named "Azis" who is like the gayest person on the planet. And I used his (?) photo on the profile I created to troll whoever I was trolling.
He’s not gay anymore. Now he sings on men’s clothing with girls. I guess it was all an act.
