Aldi's is also planning to go self checkout. At the rate this is going I might just start using Door Dash. Why the fuk not? I can avoid the mouth breathing COVID carriers that way, and won't have to worry about parking or checking my own self out. Door Dash and Instacart might cost a bit more but I'm sick of going into the petri dishes like Walmart , just so I can be treated like crap.

Can't get people to do it but the solution is to fill buggies to the top then abandon them at the self check. The message will get through.

We're finally getting an Aldi's here. I'm looking forward to it.

Far, far better quality than Walmart. Not even close. Cheaper too. Aldi's is where we normally go. Less of a hassle getting in and out than Walmart. Don't have to park half a mile away.

Speaking of spending, I have to hit Menards today.  They do fairly well with the cashiers.

I know I'm going to roll the dice against the weather and get screwed. There's a couple things I need to do before winter.  One is install a new pedestrian door on the barn. It's not architecturally consistent with the original construction, but I opted to avail myself of certain technological breakthroughs that have happened upon humankind since like 1800...hinges for example.  I did the rough. I just have to slide this heavy-ass pre-hung door I bought into the opening and pop a few nails into it. But it's so warm and stoned in this chair where I'm sitting I cant bring myself to go out into the wind right now or probably any time soon.
 
I also wanted to tile my front porch in natural stone and build a railing painted in some whimsical pastel color so when people drive by they'll be impressed by how groovy we are. But realistically, that may have to wait until spring.

Iran is behind this. They're satanic. perhaps this is the pretext under which Iran can now be justifiably destroyed.
