We do our cider mill thing during the week. It's much less crowded and we usually know the people that work there and we don't want to be among those who are a pain in their asses.

I am opposed to the whole "petting zoo" thing. But I can't change the world.

The animals in my backyard live under the assumption that they are safe. There is nothing more honorable than to be ignored by wild animals.  That is the law here.

There should be harsher penalties for littering.
I'm really in a precarious state of mind. I've had that song "Safety Dance" playing in my head, specifically the  nine-teen-eighties techno-beat opening. It's driving me insane...like clinically.
When I was a kid we had record players that would skip if there was a scratch in the record so you'd have to like kick the table and the song would continue.
I'm thinking I need to punch myself in the face or bang my head against the wall and the song will play through and I can get on with my life.
Maybe I'll try watching a youtube video of Smoke on the Water and replace that tinny synthesizer bullshit with something more palatable.

We're supplying a war against Russia in Ukraine and a war against Iran in Israel. China is getting bolder by the day.  Isn't that the notorious "Axis of Evil"?  Realistically, one could draw the conclusion that the timing was orchestrated and the the above captioned parties are in collusion against the  West.  They may already regard themselves as being at war with us directly.  Didn't China just lose a submarine laying a trap for one of ours?  That seems like kind of a big deal.

If there's going to be a world war, we need to go balls out and stomp these savages once and for all. That era in human evolution has passed.

Hmmm. Didn't win the powerball again for the every-th time in a row. I don't understand the point of this game. It's as if you're just wasting your money.

"..More accurate headline: "G.O.P. Candidates Use Attacks on Israel to Blatantly Lie About Biden and His Iran Deal" .."

Iran spent money in the Gaza strip long before the 6 billion dollars was released.

What Biden is doing is not enforcing oil sanctions.

"Eccentric’ billionaire forced to sell his 2,000 captive rhinos following government ban: ‘One of the largest … endeavors to occur for any species’"

"John Hume is the world’s most prolific private rhino breeder, and his operation has been on the verge of bankruptcy for years, as Save the Rhino reported in 2018.

The reason? A series of government bans on the sale of rhino horns, which Hume claims to harvest humanely from his herd of captive rhinos. Now, an NGO has stepped in and agreed to pay Hume for his rhinos so that they can be rewilded.

Hume, a wealthy South African property developer turned rhino farmer, is a controversial figure. His herd of 2,000 semi-captive rhinos constitutes around 7.4% of the world’s total rhino population (there are an estimated 27,000 rhinos currently alive, according to Save the Rhino).

Hume has claimed that his efforts to breed rhinos and harvest their horns are, in fact, protecting them from poachers. He calls his work a philanthropic project to save the species.

The eccentric billionaire has drawn plenty of backlash with his practice of regularly anesthetizing the rhinos and cutting off their horns in an attempt to sell them. Now, his ability to make money off the animals has been stymied.

“This is one of the largest continent-wide rewilding endeavors to occur for any species,” the NGO said, as Daily Maverick reported, while also adding that Hume’s captive-bred rhinos represented nearly 15% of the world’s remaining wild rhino population."

I think we're all a little sick of "eccentric billionaires".

"..Israeli intelligence obviously haven't had a clue what Hamas were up to - so it's pretty obvious they have little or no idea where Hamas critical targets are, and whatever they're bombing in Gaza right now, almost certainly are not Hamas critical targets. Basically, they're almost certainly bombing empty or civilian targets.."

If it was me they wouldn't have power, water, communication, or shipping by now.
