I am sick of it all

Coldhearted women caress me,
Dishonest friends flatter me,
All those bastards
Are polluting the streets,
In this city that has been torn in two,
I am sick of them.

And tell me it's worth a damn,
Those bureaucrats,
Who zealously follow the rules,
Manipulating the crowds to dance,
And the history senseless repeats,
I'm bored.

And what would we lose without them all,
The Europeans, the proponents,
What is there to know,
They only want to fill their bellies,
Clerks, fools, slaves,
I am sick of them.

And the teachers indoctrinating the youth,
Breaking the spirit of the pupils,
Each flag aims at
Achieving ideal submissiveness,
Of the brave minds,
And receive ideal obedience,
I am sick of them.

And the proverbial average man,
Never profits but endlessly suffers,
accustomed to all kinds of dirt,
As long as he’s fed
And there’s no revolutions in his mind,
I'm bored.

And the poets with sweaty palms,
Praise the country for the sacrifice,
With no heartfelt lyrics,
Serving the wise men of the state, who rise slogans,
Like slippery eels they have sold out,
I am sick of them.

No but this has been discussed. They tend to agree with my assessment.

Remember, this is nothing new and quite frankly it is getting boring. The same story over and over.  And in a couple years, they will be doing it all again.
