I'm kind of hip on creating an up-north-sy ambiance here. The term "up north" has a weird special meaning in Michigan. I'm not allowed to talk about it with outsiders.
First, let me assure you it's nothing racial...
I like the way they smell too. I have several evergreens but you can never have enough.
That’s green.I have silver spruce.
How can anyone tell your major btch from your regular btch? 🤪
I have a Colorado Blue Spruce, which are gorgeous. I wish I had 20. I planted a few Crimson King Maples along with the Colorado, a Serbian Spruce, some white birch, white pine. I wish I had had more foresight. I should have planted more. I did lose maybe 30% of what I originally planted to weather and deer over the course of 20 years. You cannot plant too many trees. A full grown tree is a huge and valuable asset.
I was given a Blue Spruce for Mother's Day 30 years ago.....I wanted to take it with me when we sold the house. It was gorgeous.
A feral cat ran into my garage and had kittens on Mother's Day.
I didn't mind that "Aliroger" from Topix that lived in Toronto. He was anti-western but he was really intelligent and kind of funny sometimes.
