Harry Dean Stanton was in that. He's like the elder statesman of my era's culture.

Sally went to church and left me here all busted up and alone. I found an old pan and was able to make myself some scrambled eggs. I'm not allowed to use any of Sally's fancy cookware. Glad I found the only old one left. Then I accidentally put chocolate milk in my coffee. Turned out to be the best thing I've done in years. So I'm sitting here drinking this coffee having already eaten my eggs and I'm not being yelled at or screamed at for anything. I already miss her though. I'm such a wimp.

If the commies invaded us now Mark and his liberals would just wring their little hands in despair. Or throw them a welcoming party. That guy is such a communist.

I saw some remakes of one of those Planet of the Apes movies. I always felt there were racial undertones to that saga.

I've got to figure out some way to get the baked on remnants of these eggs off of this skillet. It's a steel frying pan. Apparently it's pretty expensive in its own right. I've got it soaking in water right now but I had to wait until it cools off first. Otherwise according to the YouTube video it would cause the steel frying pan to Warp. In which case Sally would probably go upside my head with it. Sally thinks that because she's bigger than me she can push me around. So far she's been correct in that thinking.

yeah that was a great movie. It would have been better if all the apes had been killed in the end.

I don't like those Monday-off holidays. They screw up the synchronization of my internal clock.  But I'm taking Monday off this week to work on the barn.
are you going to fix the barn door so you can actually open it in January?

They keep remaking movies that were already made or making movies out of comic books or tv shows. I think they've run out of ideas.
I like the One Piece movie on Netflix

I saw some Japs on YouTube playing around with a 90 lb koi. They said that fish was worth 4 million bucks. I don't get it

No. There's two sides to the barn. The big side where I keep the equipment with giant hanging doors freezes shut. The other side is where the chickens live it's a room maybe 25 feet long and 10 feet wide. I replaced a smaller hanging door there with a regular pre-hung door with windows and a  knob. I had to modify the opening.
But I also want to build new windows for it that are similar to the originals that rotted out. They had a bunch of little panes of glass. I have to build them myself though.
