As dangerous as the roads were in Kuwait, think rush hour if half were tripping on acid, the roundabouts were pretty safe. Western folks were the biggest problem, we hesitated too much.

If people are afraid of them it makes them dangerous. I’m used to them now but took a while. It’s still nothing out of the ordinary for folks to go straight across, mid-air, instead of going around.
