My best friend (known since I was 3) has a son married to a Russian lady and they have 3 year old twins together. I have mentioned him before - she can be here for 3 months and then travels back, he has not been there since the Ukraine War started. Being in the US, his Russian wife is more attuned w/Alexei Navalny as are most younger Russians. They're both around 35ish. Maybe it's a matter of just surviving Putin.
