"..Every news story about Biden "failure" on immigration should emphasize that a) the Democrats caved into essentially all of the Republicans' demands; b) the Republicans then torpedoed the legislation anyway; and c) the Republicans explicitly acknowledged that their reason for killing it was to avoid giving Biden anything he could use in his re-election campaign.

The fact that very, very few Americans know this is just one more atrocious -- but typical -- failure of journalism.."
