"...CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — A man running for the West Virginia House of Delegates (HOD) in Calhoun County was arrested after leading police on a chase Thursday morning and allegedly battering an officer.

According to the criminal complaint, police were alerted by an employee at the Grantsville Municipal Building that Republican Delegate District 62 candidate Justin Henry Bordas, 36, of Grantsville, was in possession of a firearm during his visit to the building for a utilities dispute Tuesday.

Investigators later learned that Bordas was a felon due to a previous felony burglary that occurred in Pennsylvania back in 2010, making him a felon in possession of a firearm. It was also found that Bordas had other felony convictions and a felony drug conviction, of which he plead guilty to in 2010 in Pennsylvania..."
