There you go. The president is elected by the states.
Historically, Republicans vote en masse, Democrats not so much. In Boulder County we got a 96 - 97% Democrat turnout for Obama. We're rabid Liberals here, I'm probably more moderate than most - you know how I feel about every able bodied man should be working - not looking for a handout.
Things changed when Hilary lost. She should have won that election - and the Democrats that stayed home that day should be kicking themselves. We never screamed stolen election or stormed the Capitol because our candidate lost. We get back to the table and figure out where we went wrong and make the change that will make a difference. We were called snowflakes in 2016....whose been whining since 2020? Trump.
You and I both know the pendulum always swings politically, always. I think that if the Republicans had anyone else other than Trump they could potentially win this election. I will do whatever I have to do time wise and monetarily to make sure Trump does not win. I'm just one person - my kids feel the same way as do T (who voted for Trump once) T's Dad (voted for Trump twice) would tape Hannity and watch - neither are voting for Trump this time around (at least that's what they say at the moment). T didn't vote in 2020 he was so disgusted.
Will be interesting to wake up the morning after Election Day.
