Then hang in the sun for a bit. That was 2 summers ago. Someday, I'll retire and do that again.

The last time I hung out in a pool was 2003, in Kuwait.  But if you open one of those orange life vests and stick it between your legs it will float you in the lake just about shoulder level, enough to keep your beer dry. LOL

We need to talk someday about all of that - only if you want to. I got to know someone on Topix - he was on a sub during the Cold War. He would wake up in cold sweats having nightmares. Couldn't talk about it. Dominick. He ended up with cancer. He got me watching Band of Brothers. It was an education. Miss him still this day.

Ok - stage 2 was Hot Tub 105F. Passably warm. Heading upS

The most dangerous thing I did over there was drive a car. But that was dangerous over there, outright nuts sometimes.  Bad enough that it was a few years after before I complained about any US traffic/bad driving.

Iraq shot scud missiles at the base but they never got past our Patriot air defense and that was all but over with when I got there.

I was traumatized by the heat though. lol

Thank You! Enjoyed talking - really love that one of my Grandsons hopes that he can see dark matter and the other knows where Joopter is. It was Jooper until this week - he has now added the t. He also like playing instruments and gives us all an instrument and we play on beat - what a kid. Sad thing is right now they're both in bubbles - I worry what the future will look like for them.  They have parents and 5 Grandparents and 3 Aunts and 2 Uncles to help.
