He was cavalry and fought at Gettysburg. I don't know if he was part of the Irish Brigade.

My take on the Civil War was it was the continuation of a bar fight between the Irish and the Scottish...

I saw one when I could get on "Find-a-Grave". Like 4 or5 of my great uncles died in the same week in 1917 in Belgium.  That must have been a drag for their mother.

We don't ever want to do that again; not here. It is insane to think that Europe is rushing toward it again. The Serbs have re-activated their beef with the Bosniaks, Russia, Ukraine. Jesus Christ. It's beyond crazy. Maybe they figure third times the charm.  And they are openly acknowledging that they need the US to be their ringer and demanding that we participate.  So, why is there a rational person walking this planet that doesn't understand why Trump is so GD mad? This cannot be allowed to happen. It will merge with Iran, Israel, China, Taiwan....The carnage necessary to fuel all that is beyond anything that has happened in human history thus far.

What would Neanderthals do  (WWND) ?   They wouldn't be doing this.

I'm glad Trump's trying to shut down this war. I hope it works. I don't think anyone here realized how badly the Western Europeans want this. It just seemed like we were shipping bombs to Zelensky and it was getting irritating. Now we ALL can see that when Trump was shouting "You're gambling with WWIII..."  he was exactly right. This is so bad. Everyone has nukes and subs now, drones, satellites. Humans have devolved socially as a species.  It's a deformity caused by primate evolution not being able to adapt as fast as our technology advances. This could something epic. Not extinction but a cataclysmic reset that might make us better monkeys.
