Now they're saying they are in critical condition.
you have to be careful of your news sources. Half the time the bastards are lying. Then you quote them and look like a fuckin idiot.... Mark and I do it all the time... But we actually don't give a fuck.....😃

Because of the mess that has been created by this "marketplace" business, I can only proceed under the assumption that I don't have coverage at all. I have never been to a doctor since we ended up on the "marketplace". No doctor will take the insurance. I didn't do anything during the "enrolment period" so apparently they select insurance for me and send me a bill but I still can't go to a doctor because I need a "primary care physician" which I have never at any point in my life had or needed. So I guess the only difference between me and being totally uninsured is that I'm getting a bill. Every developed nation on planet Earth has figured this out besides us. Actual medical insurance like we all used to have is now 2 grand a month. The only people with decent coverage are the rich and the poor.

What is happening with the marketplace is that the insurance company is billing me a nominal fee, billing the government a large fee to 'subsidize' my premiums and I still don't get insurance. The part where you actually talk to a doctor or nurse is like 1% of this fuck-around.

I don't remember the last time I had decent medical coverage. It was Blue Cross Blue Shield and W was President.  It's been 15 years. This country has fallen apart. They had Biden up there with someone working his mouth like a ventriloquist dummy and they did more damage to the nation than all of the muslim terrorists, Russia and China combined could ever hope to do. The Democrats tried to crash the system by flooding it with Third World beggars and thieves and draining the accumulated wealth of the middle class. America no longer has the credibility we used to have and it is because of the 'woke' and 'DEI' agendas that seeped into government and the military. It is because we have not had a leader our allies and enemies respected and feared since George H.W. Bush.

This is from Marjorie Taylor-Greene's protracted resignation rant :

"“Only 20 percent of Americans are on” Elon Musk’s social media cesspit.  She also called it a “hive mind with hyper partisan politics.” She described the platform as “toxic, hateful, and divisive,” claiming “many accounts are paid and many are foreign,” while insisting the site is “not real life.”

Real life, she wrote, “exists without a phone, tablet, or computer,” rooted instead in “relationships with people, productive work, and all the fun amazing adventures the beautiful world has to offer. S--t posting on the internet all day isn’t fighting,”

Oddly, I came to the same conclusion and cancelled my 'X' subscription and forfeited the $200 or whatever I paid.  I'd say ninety percent of the posts on x are foreign actors or bots. It's complete rubbish. There are no credible news sources anymore because now everyone has a bias and that negates journalism. Objectivity and accuracy no longer exist. Half the news stories are written by ai. you can tell. There are mistakes in the actual headlines....that's how bad it is. The spelling isn't checked, the articles aren't proofread. It's complete bullshit.

This is after news articles now:

"This story was reported on-air by a journalist and has been converted to this platform with the assistance of AI. Our editorial team verifies all reporting on all platforms for fairness and accuracy."

Their "editorial team" ?

Wow man. Monday's December 1.  Another year. I'm having my taxes for 2024 done right now. Then....until I don't submit this year's taxes on April 15 of next year, I will be caught up for the first time since...well...probably when I was a paperboy.  This is what it feels like to be a model citizen. Bitchin.

I forgot today is Thanksgiving. I have nothing prepared. I should have thought ahead and picked-up some cooked chicken at the grocery store so I could make a special meal for the cats and dog and like a fruit tray for the birds. I'm grateful I have just enough weed left to get through the day without having to leave the house. I'm grateful my wife isn't forcing me to go through the perfunctory theatrics of feigning illness to dodge the draft on every holiday anymore. I bow my head in thanks that I am relieved of bearing the heavy cross of I-94 and and my sister-in-law's house for like 18 hours. Me and the animals have plans.

I'd rather go to jail for an equal amount of time than have to dress-up, sit in a car, act normal and make small talk that I have zero interest in with people I have zero interest in for an entire day.

When I was a little kid, we went to my grandmother's, there were cousins...all that. Those days are long gone. Too bad.  I preferred that Norman Rockwell version of Americana to the dystopian take where all of our holidays have to be tainted, denounced or renamed to suit those so consumed by hatred that the day's fare is insufficient.

Everything you see on an electronic screen is designed to manipulate you . Advertising, politics.... News.... Is all presented to play on your subconscious to get you to think or feel a certain way. All news is now full on propaganda designed for control. Whether it's something simple like getting you to buy something you don't really need or that is actually bad for you...or to convince you which master to vote for... People walk around like zombies stressing and staring into their little devices... Waiting for someone to tell them what to think and what to feel.... Even more confusing when the powers that be send conflicting commands...as they jostle to control the masses... You're better off getting away from the devices... Where you can think again.... But what are the odds of that...

It's encouraging to know the Canadians are as fck'd up as we are.

"Some online were calling it the Hillbilly Houseboat.

An obviously homemade houseboat turned heads in Port Huron on Sunday, Nov. 23, as it made its way on the St. Clair River near the Blue Water Bridge.

The houseboat consisted of a small, one-story modular building built into a wooden frame, floating on a series of plastic barrels, with engines on one end. The vessel appeared to struggle at times in the river's strong currents, rotating as it navigated the water.

Lt. j.g. Samuel Rodriguez Garcia, public affairs officer for the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Detroit, said Canadian officials notified the guard about the houseboat, and the U.S. Coast Guard sent one of its 45-foot response vessels out from Port Huron to meet it to make sure all was well. Coast Guard personnel encountered the pilot of the vessel, whose name was not released, and his dog.

"It is a Canadian vessel and certified under Transport Canada; that is their administration that takes care of that sort of certification," Garcia said.

Dig the snowmobile on the back.....also, it's like 30 degrees here.

St. Clair River isn't really a river and the current is insane.
