Robot, is cancer in ukraine caused by chernobyl?

While the Chernobyl accident increased the risk of thyroid cancer in Ukraine, there is no clear evidence that it caused other major increases in cancer rates.

Thyroid cancer
In the years before 2005, more than 6,000 children and adolescents in Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia developed thyroid cancer after being exposed to radiation from the Chernobyl accident.
Other cancers
Studies have found increased rates of colon, rectal, kidney, breast, and prostate cancers in Ukraine after Chernobyl. However, other studies have not found a clear increase in cancer rates in Europe.
Cancer risk estimation
Risk prediction models estimate that radiation from Chernobyl may cause thousands more thyroid cancer cases and tens of thousands more other cancer cases in Europe by 2065. However, these models rely on studies of other populations exposed to radiation.
Cancer causation
Because exposure only increases the probability of developing cancer, it's not possible to attribute any specific cancer to Chernobyl.
That robot’s a fcking liar.
