Our pastor and his wife are very blessed. She has terminal cancer. She can't walk anymore. He is there not only for her but our church as well. We are all praying for Jackie but we also know that sometimes we can't always get what we want. Jackie herself can't walk anymore but she still led our church study session before the main sermon a month ago. Her faith in God has not only never wavered but has increased in her time of duress. Her husband who is our pastor loves her as much as a man can love anyone but he too takes shelter in God's love in this time of his own challenge. They have been together for 30 years and raised sons together. If he loses her the pain will be extreme. Their life together has been their blessing ...and the young boys they raised to be fine young men.... is their shared blessing. As they go through this God is with them.
