The Blue Ghost lunar lander (Firefly) sent back first pix of the lunar eclipse as seen from the moon. I had an Astronomy Club meeting about this Tuesday night. Firefly landed on the moon a couple of weeks ago. Last week another lunar lander toppled over when landing.
The privately-owned lander turned its cameras toward Earth as our planet cast its shadow over the moon. It’s not the first spacecraft to do so.
