I also hate myself for selling my welder for a hundred bucks. I’m a mess.
Wow! Huge mistake! I rounded up thrown away iron at a farmer's property and completely welded together an entire new frame for the RANGER for about a hundred bucks. Paying to have it done? Over three thousand bucks with labor. Took me about three days. While I was at it I beat out and repaired a badly dented rear quarter panel on the Ranger that some broad ran into. I kept the 1300 bucks I got from her insurance company. You gotta have an older vehicle WITHOUT twin turbochargers, four valves per cylinder and a ten speed tranny. so you don't have to have a degree in nuclear physics to work on it. My gold standard is Mobile 1 synthetic oil too. My buddy even has a 1998 RANGER with roll up windows. Super easy to work on. Who the hell can pay 1500 a month for a truck payment and then insurance too?
Not ME!
