I knew my limitations right out of the box. I bought a tiny house, paid it off and drove a used car. I didn’t want to be forced to become a slave to debt or expenses. It worked like a charm, so simple, so virtuous. But what totally derailed my carefully formulated prescription for freedom and enlightenment was Joe Biden and my wife working seemingly in concert to once again quash my humble dreams.
