Star hopping - know it well.

I was kind of Luke warm on that achromatic refractor but with a 2” eyepiece, low-power, wide-field under dark skies it’s cool as hell. I just spent more money than I should have on upgrading my telescopes but I don’t have a boat, haven’t been on vacation in 15 years, drive a used car, don’t drink…this is my only vice…well one of few. None of it matters. It’s not about astronomy per se. It’s about practicing peace outdoors at 3 in the morning and it’s blissful.
