Deep down, the only thing I give a shit about is all these animals. I don't give a damn what I do for a living. I haven't had a shred of interest in any of that for 20 years. I just want to put in the minimum effort to get by because  it's a distraction, an irritation a waste of life.  But the animals here are going to have better lives than they ever possibly could have except for crossing my path...and for them, that is going to be a life changing event...I have that power and I wield it like magic. I love them because they love me.
