Somewhere it said that in pioneer times they would plant lilac trees as they moved their outhouses. So now, 200 years later, lilacs grow wild here. At some point, the air smells like lilacs...that's probably happening soon. I should take notes.  Anyhow, so after I'm dead and there's a bunch of trashy McMansions where my backyard is, there will be pot plants growing among the Home Depot pergolas, playscapes, plastic furniture and leased luxury cars.
