Life was better for everyone during the Cold War. There were checks and balances. It was...you know...'bi-cameral'.  Americans were heroes back then, bigger than life; the good guys. Fast forward a couple decades and there is a huge contingent that wants to turn us all into apologetic sissies bearing the guilt of all ages. I don't follow politics too closely so I don't know or care about most of it. But the part of it where Trump's 86'ng all the anti-American, anti-family, anti-Christian, anti-hetero bullshit that was being force fed to us is all good. 
We all know what normal is and it's not too demanding. We live in a society. You don't get to make up your own rules as you go along.
