"NEW: Florida house sitter accused of stealing a U.S. airman’s car and beloved dog while he was deployed overseas has been arrested in Miami-Dade weeks after the husky was found dead inside the abandoned vehicle

Andrew Beckham, a Colorado Air National Guard member, hired 28-year-old Andrew “Andy” Jansen to watch his 11-year-old husky Maverick during a three-month deployment

About a month in, Beckham lost contact with Jansen

On April 2, he saw Jansen driving away from his home in his blue Subaru with Maverick inside, but without the dog’s food, bowls, or medication

Beckham immediately reported his car and dog stolen. He returned home on April 22 and continued searching

Days later, Maverick was found dead inside the abandoned vehicle at a luxury apartment complex

The dog had blood on his face. Jansen has now been arrested in Miami-Dade"



....hopefully he'll get shanked in jail. Dog killers are unworthy of life.
