Realistically, paper and ballpoint pens did more to advance humanity than computers have so far. Before paper, they were carving shit on stone or clay. Before pens, the were trying to write with feathers...imagine writing a book like that.
Ballpoint pens are the unsung heroes of the modern era - the most practical form of information technology.
I rarely write any more and my handwriting is atrocious.
