Mark, you need to explain the situation in terms they like:

A sovereign area - the Mid-East AKA Palestine etc. - was infiltrated and overrun with illegal immigrants - primarily European Jews - and the area originally overrun with Egyptian immigrants.

Jews - Israelis - are primarily ethnic Semites, as are Arabs.

Jews are primarily a separate religious sect with long standing religious, tribal, and land feuds with the original residents - now known as Arabs/Palestinians.

If it weren't for stupid religious associations, and filthy racism, no one outside of the Middle East would give one iota about any inter-Semitic religious, tribal, and land feuds.

In other words, FK 'em all, let them kill each other and let their respective 'gods' sort them out.

I would go with that if it had not cost us so much blood and treasure and likely will cost us a great deal more.  It needs to end.
