This has been the worst year job-wise since Obama and this is the slowest time of year. Hopefully they'll be building these gaudy, over-size, poorly built houses on too-small lots again real soon but not in my neighborhood.

The deal in California is probably going to make building materials more expensive.

I'm looking forward to a better economy.  Actually, these cycles have been repeating throughout my life. My dad called it "feast or famine".  That's why we save money when things are going well.  I need another cycle of prosperity to fill my buckets before I'm ready to retire.

Amazon has some kind of 'tele-health' options. I wonder if that is of any value. There should be like a game-style set of computer accessories that you hook up to your body that monitor like your heart and blood pressure and all that for the virtual doctor visits.  That would cover like 90% of the time-wasting, resource-guzzling, frivolous doctor visits by alarmist hypochondriacs.

There's an egg shortage?  Our chickens aren't laying right now. Maybe because it's winter.

This is definitely the worst part of the year. It's just freezing and colorless every day for a couple months now. I don't mind not working. My job's inside but everything's filth and cold, piled up inside, disorganized, you have to wear heavy clothing. It makes everything a chore. Plus my house is definitely outdoor-oriented. It's like a cottage or something. This time of year we're just trapped in a tiny house. Summer there's a whole outdoor universe. Probably March things start looking hopeful again. 64 days until spring. March 20 is the first day of spring.

“ Former first lady Michelle Obama will not attend the inauguration of President-elect Trump on Monday, which will mark the second absence in two weeks from a gathering of former presidents and their spouses. Obama was not in attendance at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral last week.”.

Because she don’t sit down for no white man.

In North Carolina people are still sleeping in tents because of Hurricane Helene. Whole families. No movie stars though.

My little bedroom has a big screen and 600 channels. And a nice comfortable bed.

I was looking at tv's. You can get a 60" tv for like $300. They have great pictures too.

I want to live in an electronic fantasyland where I can meet friends and family holographically and never really have to leave my house again. It's a dream. I'm working toward a goal.
