"..That party was an absolutely intentional middle finger. They want you to know they hate you.

Not just progressives. Not just immigrants. Not just minorities. Not just Democrats.

All Americans except their ultra rich bubble. They hate you.."

"..Gives me 18th century France vibes tbh.."

I saw some video where some guy built a couch in his garage. About half the furniture in my house is home-made. As the animals destroy things, I started building new ones.  I don't like going to stores where you have to talk to other people.

So that device (Chinese) has gps, tracking motors,  a camera and probably a microphone and it has it's own wifi.  It's a first class surveillance device and there are thousands of them all over the world.
Yep.

I don't even know what this is. The 'telescope' pointed itself at the location it apparently knows the comet to be...or is directed to by its Chinese communist overlords. It ran for an hour. The Moon was moving toward the object as the night went on so that's what's happening here.  Also my wife turned on the porch light briefly because she is apparently oblivious to  gravity of my important work out in the driveway at night.

I used to have a phone that I took from my parent house. It weighed like 80 pounds. I think it was made of asphalt in like 1950. You could drop it off a building or bury it in the sand and it would work. It rang when other people called me and rang other people's phones when I called them. If I didn't want to talk, I unplugged it and no one cared. The bill was like twenty bucks a month. It was functional up until the 90's when I replaced it with about 630 subsequent phones made of plastic and glass with all kinds of functions I don't need and that have cost me thousands....I've thrown dozens of phones away, smashed dozens, and have dozens in drawers and boxes and piles...

I don't even carry a phone anymore. I have it in a desk drawer with the ringer muted and I check it a couple times a week.  No one calls me that I want to talk to. The very few people that do have business with me contact me by text and that shows up on my ipad.  The only phone calls I get are solicitors and scams. I don't even know why I continue to pay. It's probably bundled or on a contract. There's no way to quit them. It's like comcast. If you cancel cable, they double what they charge for internet-only. They know what you're paying them now and that never goes down...only up...no matter what you have.

I think Atlas is a hoax. I have tried to find that one and I can't.

It went around the Sun and should be coming toward Earth. You might have to look for it with a manual old fashion telescope.

It's too close to the horizon and in the direction of city lights. I need decent binoculars.

Every single response I get from Grok...or any of them...has to be checked for accuracy. More than half the time, the responses are not accurate or completely false.  That defeats the purpose. It's glorified Google. I ask technical questions that can basically  be answered through mathematical calculations and they come up wrong. Therefore, nothing it says (that really matters) can be trusted. It's being 'trained' by morons so how can it be more 'intelligent' than that?

An extremely rare golden comet can now be seen from Earth

"Most comets are white, yellow, blue, and occasionally green-but a rare golden comet is now gracing the sky. Dubbed C/2025 K1 (ATLAS), the icy visitor was discovered in May 2025 by the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System. It's been tracked by astronomers...

"This comet was not supposed to survive its Oct 8th perihelion (0.33 AU)," Bartlett told SpaceWeather.com. "But it did survive, and now it is displaying a red/brown/golden color rarely seen in comets." Its closest approach to Earth will be on Nov. 25, 2025, at a distance of about 0.40 AU. "

(AU = 93 million miles)

".....the comet is fairly bright at 9th magnitude, making it accessible with backyard telescopes. In September, NASA shared an image of the comet while it appeared fainter and green, flying near C/2025 R2 SWAN. "

When you read the daily news from a shit hole like Detroit, which is the 'local' news here, it is literally Third World. You would have to go to Africa, the Middle East, or South America to find carnage, amorality, ignorance and filth on that scale. It isn't poverty or education or environment. It is a permanent and relatively static percentage of our species that is not suited to anything beyond Paleolithic culture because they have not developed behavioral modernity. That is a fact. It will not change. It cannot be altered by ever-increasing layers of entitlement or remittance. From a humanitarian perspective, they themselves would be far better off, more well-adjusted psychologically and emotionally, have far more successful societies if they had be left in their natural state of being. Unfortunately the genie cannot be put back in the bottle. There is no viable hominid analog to Pleistocene rewilding as of yet.   In a sense, it is in fact a function of colonialism. The problem lies not with the colonialism itself but rather the deleterious effects of population exchanges between the colonies and metropoles and more so the misguided attempts to rectify past societal mistakes  by overlaying  more, exponentially more destructive mistakes, atop the original sins. Blaming, tearing down statues...it's irrational at best. It makes no sense at all. That isn't reparation, it's resentment. It's not even revenge because the targets of the vengeance caused no injury.
