My great niece works for a company that goes and picks up dead bodies when people die. I’m not talking about the situations when somebody they expect to die passes away, and the funeral home comes and picks them up. No this is when people pass away unexpectedly or when they passed away and aren’t found for a couple of weeks. Her and her crew pick these bodies up and clean the place up a bit after the coroner leaves. She says some of them melt into the bed or the couch. It gets pretty messy. After they pick them up, they throw them out a zipper bag and take them to the morgue. Then, after that, the funeral home will pick them up at the morgue what’s left of them anyway. She said one guy had hung himself and the body had rotted so bad that the head fell off with the rope, still tied around the neck.
I just saw an ad for one of those jobs and was going to apply except it was in the city and...well...you have to deal with minorities...living or dead not very appealing.

You probably remember that show One Step Beyond with John Newland. That was kind of a poor-man's Zone.
I could probably remember if I focused.

My long-term memory is perfect. It's my short-term memory (RAM) that's shot. I forget why I'm in a room while I'm on my way through the door. Probably Alzheimer's - anything but the weed.

I used to like to go driving during blizzards at night if there's no traffic. It's like flying a spaceship with the snow flake whizzing by the window.

"...For those who can resist diving into the turkey and mashed potatoes for a few minutes to share their thanks first, evidence indicates that gratitude can boost health and well-being.

“Benefits associated with gratitude include better sleep, more exercise, reduced symptoms of physical pain, lower levels of inflammation, lower blood pressure and a host of other things we associate with better health,” ..."

....although that's hard when all you've ever cared about has been butchered or raped.  Governments don't live together - people live together. With governments, you don't always get a fair word or a fair fight.  Governments are chiefed by the double tongues.
