I have to bring my cactuses in. It's supposed to dip into the mid 30s tonight. I have been putting it off because some of them are 8 feet tall.
The plural of cactus can be either cacti (from the Latin plural) or the conventional English plural cactuses. “ Cacti” is the Latin plural of cactus and “Cactuses” is the English plural although “cacti” has the edge. Similar words that are made plural this way are abacus (abaci), alumnus (alumni) and radius (radii)
I'm on Team Cactuses too.
