Jesus. That's ridiculous.
When I look back on what I did back then, what I was thinking... It seems like it was someone else.

I think they have a real formal trades arrangement in Europe too, maybe especially in Germany. I think when they use words like "Journeyman" it has a little more meaning than when we say it.
we equate journeyman with janitor here.

No. Worked 20 years at the post office... Paying into a different retirement system. After going crazy and trying to murder my supervisor, I lost that retirement. On jobs I worked before the post office, I qualify for 250 bucks a month. So I took the 914. Which disqualified me for the 250.

I liked drafting. Never used it, but I liked it.

If it comes down to an existential threat to Israel, of course the US should directly attack Iran, Syria and whoever else and destroy their militaries. The muslim nations arrayed against Israel are the enemies of all civilized people. It is therefore incumbent upon all civilized nations to wage war on these enemies when they attack any of us.

I used that more than anything...in a roundabout way.

No nation ruled by religion should be tolerated.

That's where I'm talking about. Especially Germany.

I don't think the Paiutes will fall for the old trinket and disease infected blanket trick again.

When I think about it, I did have some use for it with carpentry.

When I was on Reddit's woodworking forum (before I was banned), there was some kid from the Netherlands or something and he was in one of those trade programs and he had to do some really complex project as like a final exam. It sounded a lot more intense than anything I ever had to do in school.

We should be kicking out trained, skilled young people....welders, machinists, masons, carpenters, electricians, nurses, firefighters, utility workers....  Those are the people that keep society running.
