I would not have stolen the pink cards...I would have befriended you and tried to understand what was going on and encouraged you to do your best and try to be compliant. I am at my core a cheerleader of mankind. I am also very persuasive.
I never went to the Principle's Office. I did volunteer in the Library and checked out books. I was in Honor Society from 8th grade on.
I hung out with nerds. That was my comfort zone.
I have, however. changed my stripes. I'd help you in a heartbeat today...and get a bit of a thrill doing it! I have a real problem with man made rules and regulations. Bunch of BS.
Complying is not something I have ever been good at. LOL I don't doubt that it was a big thrill for a goody two-shoes like her, it was a caper that took some doing. She had to get into a locked file cabinet in the P's actual office and the rest of the school office was seldom without people. She never told us how she pulled it off.
